Its high torque motor incorporates a proprietary cooling system and smooth gear drive for continuous slicing. The tilted food carriage combined with the cantilevered design provides fast and efficient non stop slicing directly onto large trays. The fully retractable and generously sized food carriage permits slicing of extra large foods from deli-thin to approximately 7/8 inch thick. Clean up is quick and easy; the blade, food carriage, food pusher, food deflector and thickness guide plate all remove for washing in the sink.
