Say you know exactly where the crack in the foundation is. You need an estimate to waterproof one side of an average-sized house. You cannot finance any amount. And you don't want to be wasting the salesperson's time.
Answer:
If you have just a wall crack it can usually be repaired for less than $1000 (Summer 2005, Southern California estimate). And some times, much less. To waterproof one side of an average basement is much more difficult to determine. This could be anywhere from $1500 to $4000.
