The Brita Water Filtration Pitcher model OB01/OB03 is NSF and Water Quality Association certified to reduce the following contaminants: Lead (98%) Mercury Tetrachloroethylene Toluene Benzene Copper CadmiumThis filter will also reduce chlorine taste odor as well as sediment. Each filter will filter 40 gallons of water and needs to be replaced an average of ever 2 months. Pitcher holds up to six 8 ounce glasses of filtered water.
